Andrew Chang serves as General Counsel of DreamWorks Animation. He previously held the positions of head of litigation and head technology lawyer since the Company’s IPO in October 2004, prior to which he was head of litigation for DreamWorks SKG and head of legal and business affairs for DreamWorks Distribution. Prior to joining DreamWorks in 2002, Andrew was Vice President – Litigation at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, where he handled various studio-related litigation, investigations and claims at that then publicly-traded company since 1998. From 1990 to 1998, Andrew was an associate in the litigation department of the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Andrew has handled state and federal trials, private arbitrations, state and federal investigations and various matters concerning general business, intellectual property, licensing, distribution, antitrust and technology. Andrew graduated from Princeton University and Georgetown University Law Center, both with honors. Andrew is a member of the California Bar.
