Coordinates on-boarding process which includes account set up, conducting new-hire orientation, collection/processing of all required new hire paperwork.
Act as first point of contact for HR/Payroll questions.
Assists employees by answering questions, providing information and referring them to appropriate staff as needed to provide exemplary customer service.
Partner with Payroll, Production Accountant, and HRIS to resolve issues.
Utilize HRIS database to generate reports and access employee information.
Ensures timely set up of meetings and training sessions including preparing materials and invite lists.
Performs management reporting and tracking to include the following:
- New Hire report
- Paid Time Off /Vacation Report
- Birthday and Anniversary Reports
- Misc. Reporting as requested
Partners with HR, various departments and Glendale Event Management to oversee the planning, procurement of supplies, setup, breakdown and execution of all studio events including: Employee lunches, Thirsty Thursdays, Premiere Parties, Wrap Parties, Take your child to work day, Friends and Family party, Movie under the Stars, Holiday lunches, etc.
Oversee volunteer programs and drives (i.e. food drives, charity drives, adopt an elementary school, etc.)
Coordinate and oversee the distribution of Company gifts (i.e. Art of books, 20th Anniversary gifts, etc.)
Partner with Glendale Training department to coordinate employee classes (i.e. figure drawing, painting, storyboarding, language classes, wine tasting, barista class, cooking class, etc.)
Partner with the Glendale Internship Coordinator to oversee the TV internship program.
Assist with creation and placement of decor, signage, catering, equipment and furnishings
Assists in projecting costs for onsite events and tracks TeamWorks and/or TV Studio Events budget
Primary contact for external vendors
Work with outside vendors on ordering food, tracking and paying invoices
Manage all employee communication related to upcoming events (invitations, fliers, etc.)
Perform other Ad hoc duties as assigned
2-3 Years HR or fast paced Production environment experience preferred.
Proactive problem solver with excellent time management, organization, judgment and prioritization skills
Attention to detail, superior communication skills, flexibility,and a professional demeanor
Must be able to adapt quickly in a dynamic work environment with a very fast pace.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to think and design from concept to finish independently
Competency in Google docs and calendaring system, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proficiency in PhotoShop preferred
Knowledge of art and studio production pipeline, production equipment, animation hardware and software is helpful, but not required
Must maintain a valid CA Drivers License at all times
