Maintain and analyze film and television ultimate P&Ls for both released and unreleased properties including updating, preparing and investigating variances to actual reporting, evaluating comparable titles and trends in performance by market, by title, by territory.
Support variance analysis of key changes between forecasts as well as assess longer term trends across titles in coordination with finance leads.
Serve as resident expert on TV business creating dashboards of key performance metrics to summarize profitability expectations for Senior Management.
Run various performance and release slate scenario analyses to assess impact on firm profitability.
Evaluate opportunities and risks for projects to assess future performance upside and shortfalls.
Support 3-year forecast estimates and Board of Directors materials based on ultimate P&L values resulting from actual and forecast results.
Assess performance results based on GAAP reporting bydistributors e.g. Paramount, Fox, Netflix.
Focus on modeling participations and residuals as a function of changes in talent contracts and revenue estimates.
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting or related field, plus two years experience in the job offered or related field.
Experience in financial modeling. Knowledge of GAAP accounting.
Experience with Hyperion Planning/ESSBASE.
