DreamWorks Animation seeks an Intern for the Consumer Products Licensing department in Glendale, CA. The Intern will be exposed to all aspects of entertainment brand licensing business that bring animated stories to life through products children love. The Intern will work closely with category teams to develop brand and retail plans across a broad franchise portfolio. The Intern will gain knowledge by working with category teams to pursue new business opportunities with licensees/manufacturers as well as develop insights on presentation creation for internal and external business needs. The Intern will also learn how to operate our internal contract approvals systems and gain an understanding of the forecasting and business planning cycles through active participation in the process. The Intern will also develop researching skills through access to industry analysts and experts that provide key strategic retail and consumer insight for business development.
Must be a Junior or Senior BA/BS candidate currently enrolled in a four-year college or university. Must have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, solid written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be a self-starter. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. We are not able to sponsor international students in Overhead departments.
