The Awesomeness Hollywood Intern will learn the fast paced world of online Hollywood reporting in the digital space. They'll experience everything from start to finish and leave with a well rounded knowledge base that will translate into any part of entertainment they go into after.
The first thing the Intern will learn is the most crucial and fundamental part of reporting, research. At the beginning of the day, interns will use reliable sources to discover and double check any stories to be reported on that day. They will learnwhat type of stories are effective for our audience and learn how to make those stories appealing and original to our demographic. Then the interns will learn to incorporate calls to action into the stories they write to drive more views to each individual video. After research, the Intern will learn how to set up equipment for a shoot and assist on many different types of sets. They will learn video and audio and the importance of keeping equipment organized.
The Intern will also learn how to prep for red carpet events and handle the high stress, fast paced action on a red carpet. They'll learn how to interview guests on carpets and in sit down interviews and how to guide guests to the answers we're looking for.
Interns will be ableto pitch ideas to producers, assist on red carpet events, and periodically host our daily news show, so all applicants must be creative, hard-working, and have an interest in being an on-camera personality.
