DreamWorks Animation seeks an Education TD Intern in Redwood City, CA. The Education department creates, manages and delivers curricula to the artists, technologists and administrators, providing learning services for new hires and continuing education programs. We are looking to build a visual interactive learning system tailored to the busy artists day. The Intern will help to create a working prototype of the system using in house development tools and standards. In addition, the Intern will be given the opportunity to work with production TDs to explore their interests in technology and animation.
Must be a MS candidate or exceptional Junior or Senior BA/BS candidate currently enrolled in a four-year college/university; Computer Science, UX/UI, or engineering majors preferred. Candidates should be well organized, pro-active self-motivated individuals who function well in fast-paced environments. Those applying must be confident with some CGI experience, excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), acute attention to detail, and feel comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization. Knowledge of web app development and HTML5 is a plus. Working knowledge of the Python programming language is also a plus.
